这边天气总是变来变去，一不小心就感冒了。这时不得不跟老师发email请个病假了。在email的开头，当然要亲切称呼老师为Dear professor啦。然后清晰地介绍自己是哪门课哪位学生，讲诉自己生病了，有多严重，打算休息几天，若是生病期间有作业必须要交，可以请求老师延迟自己交作业的时间或是以email方式上交。最重要的是，在email中应该附有doctor notes表明你是真的病了，一定得按时吃药，不能弃疗!!

比如email可以这样写：

Dear Professor_______,

I am Lei Li, a student from your English 121 section 2class. I apologize for being absent this Monday and Wednesday as I have caughta very bad cold this past weekend. I have attached a doctor’s note in theemail. Since Assignment 1 is due this Wednesday, would it be acceptable if I submitmy assignment before the due date by email? Please reply back when you are available.Thank you for understanding.

在做作业，复习mid-term时遇到问题需要问老师的，考试下来知道分数后想找老师看看卷子的，觉得分数应该更高想要与老师商量重新打分的。这都需要和老师在Office hour亲切交谈一下。在这之前，亲们可能也需要跟老师提前用email约一下时间。

注：约office hours的时候一定要先说什么时候有空,

例如：I am free all of wednesday,and if you dont have any time available that day, i am also free thursday andfriday after 3pm
