1. available 在表示“对于……是空闲的/可用的”的含义时，后面通常接for，若针对的是人，也可以用to，例如：

He is not available for the job.

Mr Leach is on holiday and was not available for comment.

There was no sleeping accommodation available for/to us.

2. 当 be available 后接不定式时，若句子主语与该不定式有动宾关系，则该不定式可用主动式也可用被动式。例如：

These cups are available to use. = These cups are available to be used.
