Xuan Zang, Monkey, Pigsy and Sandy reached the mysterious White Tiger Mountains, home of the White Bone Demon. The White Bone Demon had a special trick of luring the victims into its cave to eat them.
唐僧、孙悟空、猪八戒和沙和尚来到了白骨精的家——白虎山。白骨精会耍诡计并将人引诱到洞穴里吃掉他们。
The White Bone Demon transforms into a young girl calling for help as the group passes. Monkey saw right through the disguise. Monkey struck two mighty blows with his staff and the demon fell down dead. Xuan Zang thought Monkey had killed an innocent young girl.
白骨精变成年轻女孩，向师徒四人呼叫求救。孙悟空一眼戳穿了它的伪装。他用金箍棒打了白骨精两次，将女孩打死。唐僧认为悟空打死了一个无辜的女孩。
The Demon’s spirit was not killed by Monkey’s blows, and changed into the shape of the girl’s mother. Monkey was the only one not fooled and he rushed in and killed the mother too. The Demon’s spirit rose up once more, this time taking the shape of the girl’s father. The same thing happened as before, but Monkey succeeded in killing the Demon.
白骨精的魂魄并没有被打死，它转身变成女孩的妈妈。悟空作为唯一一个看破真伪的人，也打死了老妇人。而白骨精又变成了女孩的爸爸。悟空又将他打死，这次悟空成功消灭了白骨精。
Xuan Zang had had enough of Monkey's unprovoked violence and angrily told monkey to leave the group, and never come back. Monkey tried to explain, but Xuan Zang refused to listen. Monkey sadly departed.
唐僧受够了悟空无缘无故的暴力行为，生气地告诉悟空让他永远不要再回来。悟空尝试解释，但是玄奘拒绝听他说。悟空伤心离去。
Xuan Zang and the two others continued on their journey, and found themselves in a dark forest swarming with demons. Despite Pigsy and Sandy’s best efforts, the demons still took Xuan Zang Prinsoner. Pigsy knew that only Monkey could help and got Monkey back. Armed with his magic staff, Monkey defeated the forest demons, forcing them to release Xuan Zang. Monkey explained to him what happened when the White Bone Demon attacked them, and the group continued on their way.
唐僧师徒三人继续前行，来到了妖魔云集的黑森林中，尽管猪八戒和沙和尚用尽了全力，唐僧还是被俘虏了。猪八戒知道只有孙悟空能救得了唐僧，并将悟空找了回来。孙悟空用金箍棒战胜了妖魔，救回了唐僧。悟空向唐僧解释了白骨精的事情，师徒四人又踏上了征程。
玄奘生活在公元602-664年，并花费了17年的时间从唐朝的长安城去往印度取得佛经(sutra)。他离开中国的时候并不被皇帝支持，但是回程后成为了一个英雄。西安的大雁塔(Great Wild Goose Pagoda)当年就收藏着玄奘从印度取回的佛经。大雁塔之所以得名是因为玄奘曾一度在沙漠中迷路，一队路过的大雁将他引到水源处。
