The Opportunity
An expanding jewellery wholesaler requires two experienced Merchandisers to join an enthusiastic team within a busy environment. The role(s) requires the candidate to deal with our factories based in far-east so Chinese speaking would be advantageous.
Responsibilities Include
Set up and manage critical paths to ensure time lines and deadlines are met
Costing products
Managing multiple component product orders
Assist in the negotiation of prices with suppliers
Liaise with overseas suppliers and customers
Maintain purchase and sales orders
Responsible for the stock returns and QC issues
Requirements
Intermediate Excel experience essential and high level of IT competence
Proven experience in a jewellery or garment wholesale environment essential
Strong organisational and communication skills
Knowledge of import formalities
Thrive on working to targets and deadlines
Team player with flexible attitude
Fluent in English
Required Experience
Wholesale merchandising: 1 year
Experience with jewellery: 1 year
