鉴于澳洲历史上的绝大多数政府总理都是法律背景出身，“律师”这个职业在很多孩子心目中都是高大上而遥不可及的。但是根据近几年申请来就读法律的中国学生的职业发展状况，其实法律专业并不像想象中的不切实际。读法律也不失为一个好的专业。
怎样才能当上澳洲律师呢？
你得有个LPAB的认证的法律学位，通常本科为Bachelor of Law(LLB),硕士为Juris Doctor（JD）
通过一个半年的Legal Practice（法律实践）课程。
语言要求：只要你读的是LPAB认证的法律学位，雅思成绩都是免的。要知道如果是英国加拿大的同行转过来当澳洲律师，可是要考雅思总分8以上（听力7 阅读7写作8口语5），才能注册上律师的！

本科课程：
悉尼大学法律专业本科仅开设双学位课程，学制5年或6年。学生在前3年或4年学习其他专业学士学位课程的同时，还要学习法律专业本科第一年的课程。待完成3年或4年的其他专业学士学位课程后，转入法学院，将用2年时间完成法学学士学位课程。
