Hot Pot Digital is a full-service digital marketing, branding and creative agency focused exclusively on reaching the Chinese consumer online.
Based in London, Beijing and New York, Hot Pot Digital has a strong focus on the fashion, luxury and hospitality sectors and works with iconic brands in each of these fields.
The successful applicant for this GM role will join a rapidly growing team of entrepreneurial individuals with significant branding, marketing and digital experience within China, as well as in international markets.
- Client Service
- Ensure overall client satisfaction on all Hot Pot Digital accounts
- Manage Account Management and Production team performance to deliver on client KPIs
- Act as Key Account Director on selected major accounts
- Work with Managing Director to deliver on business growth goals
- Overall responsibility for meeting new business targets
- Identify and qualify new business opportunities, lead pitches, proposal generation, closing
- Growth opportunities: delivering additional revenue streams with existing client base
- New product and service development
- Oversee execution of Hot Pot Digital’s marketing strategy: PR, awards, thought leadership, blog, SEM, paid, social
- Team growth: hiring, retention, developing of staff
- Manage and develop internal training systems
- Build on and further develop Hot Pot Digital internal company culture
- Drive team creativity and innovation across product, campaign and internal procedures
- HR management and troubleshooting (together with office manager)
- Manage quarterly performance review process
- Responsibility for P+L on all client accounts
- Overall responsibility for company P+L
- Manage office manager and grow operations team as necessary
- Run day-to-day operations at Hot Pot London office
- In-depth experience of working with brands in mainland China
- Extensive branding, marketing and communications experience
- Fluency with Chinese digital, social media and eCommerce environment highly desirably
- Proven ability to source, lead and close deals with major brands in an international landscape
- Proven ability to grow, structure and lead teams
- Experience in one of the following sectors: fashion, luxury, hospitality, FMCG
- Cross cultural fluency a must
- Spoken / written Chinese strongly desirable
- University Degree
