Citymapper is building the best source of public transport information in the world. We combine agency open data, user-generated content, and our own data to help locals navigate their cities and to be the app that they rely on every day.

As part of the City Operations team, you will be working across cities to:

-   Make us the best app in every city: exhaustive, accurate, and up-to-date

-   Help us expand: Launch new cities, map transport networks from scratch in the world's most difficult cities where no data is available. Oh, the places you'll go . . .

-   Save lives: talk to our users, understand and prioritize their issues

-   Work with Engineering and Product teams to help roll out new features

-   Create synergies across cities by identifying data and user patterns that can be scaled

-   Prepare for the unprepared Land strikes, storms, and other surprises safely

-   Develop our next generation of mapping tools

We are looking for accomplished and international individuals with a passion for cities, transport, and tech.

You will be joining a small and passionate team that is redefining public transport information in the world's largest and most complex cities.

-   Extensive experience in consulting, tech, data, or transport industries

-   Natural problem-solver with an entrepreneurial mindset

-   Comfortable working with data

-   Tenacious with good attention to detail

-   Good at prioritising

-   Excited to take on more responsibility as the role evolves

-   Local-level knowledge of Tokyo and Singapore

-   Fluent in Japanese and Chinese
