2016年10月18日，国际部主任May给全体中外教师召开会议，会上着重强调了安全用电的重要性以及教师在班级使用电教器材时需要注意的安全问题。会上大家也对可能存在安全隐患的点进行了讨论。
2016年10月19日， 国际部全体师生进行了本学期第二次消防演练活动。 首先，班主任给同学们普及了简单的消防知识和应急避难方法等，如弯腰，用湿毛巾捂住口鼻。在Chad校长摇动了警铃后，同学们捂住口鼻迅速撤出教学楼。全体师生在远离学校教学楼的十字路口处集合并清点人数。校长Chad对本次演习进行了总结。本次演练加强了全校师生防火应急逃生的安全意识，使学生掌握遇到火灾事故时自救和逃生的基本方法，同时了解了火灾逃生知识。
不为隐患留空隙，千里之堤毁于蚁穴。火灾防范要从大处着眼，但应该从小处做起。让我们加强防范意识，防范于未然。
In order to enhance the fire safety awareness of the teachers and students, the International Division held some activities about fire safety.
On October 18th, 2016, Director May held a meeting for all the stuff about the importance of how to use the electricity and the electric equipment correctly. All the teachers also discussed some potential safety hazard.
On October 19th, 2016, the International Division had the second fire drill of this semester. Firstly, all the headteachers taught the students some knowledge and methods about how to keep safe when the fire happens. When the students heard the ring, they all ran out of the teaching building and gathered at the road. Then Principle Chad concluded this practice.
We should keep our wits about fire and nip it in the bud.
