As an AVP Private Banking Executive on the London Asia team you will be supporting a Private Banker in acquiring, servicing and retaining clients to deliver business goals and resolving independently complex client situations. 

Private Banking offers bespoke banking and investment solutions to high net-worth individuals across the globe. It provides a comprehensive range of investment advice across all asset classes, wealth structures and banking services. It operates in onshore and offshore markets and is organised around market-focused teams.

•   Supporting and monitoring relationships with Ultra High Net Worth clients and working alongside their Bankers and independently to provide a quality service

•   Developing a sales strategy jointly with the Bankers to exceed performance targets

•   Organising and prepare all relevant documents to ensure the Private Banker is prepared for client success

•   Assisting the Bankers with ongoing client relationships including attending meetings, attending client events, preparing meeting notes, drafting letters, credit proposals

•   Keeping up to date with market knowledge, economic position and Barclays Wealth research view

•   Being the key contact for the clients on dealing day to day administration across the range of services and products

•   Liaising between the Bankers and specialist product areas eg. Investment Management, Credit and Fiduciary to ensure smooth operation of all services

•   Knowledge of regulatory issues and procedures

•   Strong knowledge of banking and operational procedures, plus lending and understanding of security requirements

•   Client facing experience preferably in a Private Banking Executive role or a similar industry role

•   Understanding of Risk and Controls frameworks

•   Fluent in Mandarin or Cantonese is preferable

•   An understanding of the importance of meeting and exceeding client expectations
