- Assist directly with MD to set both short-term and long-term PR objectives and develop the achievable strategies to fulfil objectives
- Cooperate with PR officers in head office in China, ensuring all the PR activities launched in the UK in line with the corporate image positioned by head office
- Design, write, produce and edit press releases, articles, leaflets, reports, publicity brochures, information on both traditional media (such as Fortune magazine and TEST magazine) and online media (such as Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook and Google+ ) to earn highly loyalty rate from users, especially from targeted customers
- Manage and supervise the comments of users on social media
- Response quickly as a representative of the company to weaken the influence of negative feedback and regularly create company related innovative stunts to shape a favourable corporate reputation
- Build up direct network with social media influencers to keep our company’s strength in their mind (get them to share our content piece with their followers via social networking)
- Foster community relations through events
- Be the key person to join in social events, such as IP Expo, Apps World, Commerce Expo and European Tech Summit
- Work as company’s representatives to show up our brand strength among all the stakeholders
- Build and nurture relationships with all social media channels so that they always put us in priority when they make comments and suggestions on public channels
- Keep evaluating and analysing the performance of all earned media and PR campaigns, identify which one and which PR activity lifts our brand image the most
- Provide the analysis report to MD regularly discussing findings and observations in the past PR campaigns and making recommendations about how to integrate these findings and observations into PR strategies in future
- Master degree in Business / PR / Marketing related subjects
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (Both Mandarin and English are required)
- Good understanding and awareness of Chinese business culture
- Knowledge of existing and emerging social media platforms
- Experience in PR activities
- Networking and analytical skills
- Efficiency at MS Office and presentation software
- Ability to work independently and flexibly
- Capacity to priorities and work across multiple projects
- Excellent team-work skills
