We started our school cafeteria with only a few dozen students. On our first year we started with serving, only Chinese cuisine and with time not only did we improve on our cafeteria but also expanded our food menu to more on western taste.

Currently, our cafeteria is serving our students from kindergarten to grade 12 on both CISH and SCCS. 

With great pride we say, that today we have over thousands of people including students, staff and guest who enjoy a delicious healthy and nutritious meal and snack over at our cafeteria every day.

In addition to strictly monitoring the quality of our food and resources we also try and educate our students on the importance of eating right and staying healthy. 

那年，我们只有几十个学生的餐厅，那年，我们每天只有中式食物，那年，我们在无数的意见中不断改进。如今，我们有上千人就餐的餐厅，我们有中餐西餐课间餐，我们有对原材料严格的把关，我们有一个共同的目标，让孩子健康，营养的生活。

It was an immense pleasure to invite the parents to our first cafeteria open day to look and understand its management. We discussed about ingredients, food material and resources all while enjoying some delicious snack prepared by the cafeteria. 

The parents had an opportunity to view our inspection reports for rice, flour and oil while the staff demonstrated the parents with purchasing, storing, preserving, setting our table, sterilizing and cleaning supplies and appliances. 

We also took this opportunity to introduce experts from Metro who is our exclusive food resources/material supplier to answer any food concerns. 

To end we had our chef describe how they prepared and cooked food for our dear students and staff.  

首届食堂开放日，家长们如约而至，细心的研究我们的产品，耐心的跟我们沟通，开心的品尝着美味的点心。我们展示了米面油的供货资质和检验报告，展出了食堂的原材料进货—储存—食品添加剂的保管使用—加工—开餐—留样—餐具清洁（消毒）—各类管理制度流程内容的现场图片。作为我们唯一的供货商，麦德龙也派专人来为家长解答疑问，厨师长认真描述制作方法，采购专员认真记下家长意见。

Overall, it was an exciting event for our students and parents to experience the insides of our school cafeteria listening to the experts on their presentation and enjoying delicacies prepared by them.
