Commercial analyst careers appeal to people who enjoy research, collecting and analyzing information, problem-solving and who can communicate their findings clearly.  

Additionally, you will:

◼  Monitor, analyse and report on spend within the projects to assist in

identifying cost issues and mitigations in conjunction with the project managers.

◼  Assist in the evaluation and reporting on contract procurement spend against NSW Procurement guidelines and Contract Procurement Plans.

◼  Analyse and evaluate cost data and information relating to internal costs

from within the Cluster and other Agencies to assist in the correct classification between capital and operating costs.

◼  Provide input to management and external reports as well as the ongoing reporting for other Government agencies to meet quality and timeliness requirements.

◼  Assist in the administration of contracts in accordance with approved Contract Management Plans and procedures and update contract details to maintain the integrity of contract information.

◼  Contribute to the development and implementation of contract management plans as well as monitoring performance and addressing non-performance, to achieve the required contract outcomes.

◼  Interpret and explain commercial contract requirements, and terms and conditions to stakeholders to support compliance with statutory and policy requirements and inform decision-making,

◼  Establish and maintain stakeholder and supplier relationships to identify and minimise risk, and maximise the value from the project.
