The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic Recruiter who is passionate about recruiting for the world’s largest digital entertainment company.
Please note this a 12 month contract with a view to extend.
The Studio
Electronic Arts’ Firemonkeys Studio in Melbourne, Australia is highly regarded throughout the industry as a leader in delivering high quality, engaging games on iOS and Android. We release new meaningful updates on a regular basis for our live mobile games such as Real Racing 3, The Sims FreePlay, Need for Speed and more.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Proactively partner with stakeholders across the organisation on all levels to understand the recruitment requirements and action deliverables
• Identifying and sourcing top talent by researching industry trends, attending conferences or events, networking and promoting corporate referral programs
• Conducting thorough candidate assessment via phone or in-person interviews
• Developing interview guides for candidate assessment
• Managing the candidate experience by ensuring that all candidates have positive interaction with Electronic Arts at all stages of the recruitment process
• Building and maintaining a strong candidate pipeline
• Track critical recruitment data, produce regular and ad-hoc metrics and reporting on recruiting activities to management and client groups
• Managing the studios talent brand within the market and external relationships with relevant bodies, such as universities and event organisations
You will have:
• Candidates with bilingual abilities with English as the primary language and Mandarin or Korean are strongly encouraged to apply
• 3-5 years of full lifecycle recruitment experience, ideally in the high-tech or entertainment industry
• Strong consultative approach with a demonstrated ability to develop successful business partner relationships at all levels of an organization
• Experience in researching, developing, and implementing new candidate sourcing and search methods for both passive and active candidates
• Resourceful and effective use of Boolean search, job sites, social networks, etc.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize competing tasks in a fast paced environment
• Microsoft Office proficiency and extensive experience with applicant tracking systems
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or related field is preferred
