We have an exciting opportunity for a HR Intern to directly assist the HR Front Office Team with a wide range of projects related to HR compliance, recruiting, on boarding/orientation and employee benefits.
This is a 6 months contract, based in our London office (near King's Cross tube station).
The role reports to the HR Business Partner.
Key Responsibilities
·Recruitment administration support – including offer packs preparation, interview booking, application management
·Create personnel files for new starters each month and ensure the regular removal of leaver files for archiving. Ensure that all personnel files are kept fully up to date
·Managing the HR first tier queries
·Ownership of updating the intranet to reflect all personnel changes (Starters, Leavers and employee changes)
·Support the HR team with monthly collation and updating of organisation charts, biographies and spreadsheets
·Contribute to ad hoc HR projects – provide admin support where necessary (GPM etc)
·Support the wider HR Function as required from time to time
·Managing Benefits administration and liaison with external vendors
·Support HR team with weekly or monthly reporting as required
·Support L&D Manager with training administration
JOB HOLDERS SPECIFICATION:
·Strong customer service focus with a proactive solutions focused approach and a can-do attitude
·Excellent attention to detail
·Able to work on own initiative, to proactively identify and manage tasks and achieve goals as well as operate flexibly within a team environment
·Strong organisation and time management skills, able to plan and organise effectively in order to deliver high standards of work to tight deadlines, often under pressure
·Keen interest in working in an HR environment, with the requisite level of integrity in managing sensitive and confidential information
·Able to maintain confidentiality due to the sensitive nature of HR files
·People driven individual passionate for a career in HR
·Ambition to work in a fast paced international environment
·Excellent numerical and analytical skills
SPECIFIC SKILLS:
·Fluency in written and spoken English and fluency in one of these languages is a must: Italian/Spanish/Mandarin/Thai/Norwegian.
·Computer literate - (MS Office, with a good understanding of Excel and all MS Office programmes, as well as Visio).
·Cultural and interpersonal sensitivity and awareness.
EXPERIENCE:
·Previous experience of planning and organising (can be in non-work situation if recent graduate)
·Experience of living and/or working in another European country and language and with diverse cultures
·Previous HR and/or administrative experience a distinct advantage
