LGBT Pride Month Discussion Panel: Coming Out Across Generations

 June 13th, Wednesday, 6:30pm

Due to the shifts in public opinion, coming out in America is now much easier than it was previously. In fact, LGBT Americans on average are coming out at younger ages than they did in the past. But coming out in America still is not easy for many. Please join us at the Beijing American Center for a panel discussion on coming out across different generations. The panel members will include five individuals from across three generations, including Baby Boomers (those born 1946-1964), Generation X (born 1965-1983), and Millennials (born 1984-1995). They will discuss their coming out experiences as well as how each generation has aided or influenced their coming out. The moderator will conclude the discussion by talking about how Generation Z (born 1996-2010) and Alpha (born 2011-Present) will shape the future of the LGBT coming out experience.

This event will be conducted in English.
