几千年间，自然以无限循环往复的形式存在于地球上。而人类之于自然，不过是这个世界的短暂存在，轻描淡写到无迹可寻。海岸是地球上最裸露的地方，时间的奔涌不曾平息它涌动的心。该系列作品表达了对自然的赞颂。

The piece is both a celebration of nature and a study of its permanence in the face of man’s fleeting existence, inspired by watching the natural world continue on the same daily cycle it has taken for millennia, a cycle disinterested in the existence of mankind who seems only to turn its back in return. The coast is where the planet is laid bare, consumed by the shifting face of time.

该作品由36张拍摄于同一地方和同一方位的相片拼接而成。相同的视角不同的时间下，海岸的景色展现了完全不同的各种风貌，却都有着同样的从容与平静。相片中的场景里，天、地、海各自分明，拍摄曝光时间在六分钟到几分之一秒之间不等，而最终的成像效果也不尽相同。而色彩与色调的变化，也定格在了几个瞬间。时间是这系列作品的主导者，它把瞬息万变的世界清晰地呈现在观察者眼前。

The piece is a composite of 36 individual photographs depicting the same location, and from the same elevation and viewpoint. The aim was to examine emotions in how the world can be depicted with infinitely different and deliberate minimalism. The location was chosen because it breaks the elements of the frame into only the most essential characteristics of Earth; land, sea and sky. Varying exposures, ranging from 6 minutes to a fraction of a second, allows a breakdown of these elements even further; encouraging the emergence of colours and tones only possible through the passing, and capture, of time.Time itself shifts throughout the work, drawing the viewer into the present, an identifiable reality.

 人也是这其中的组成部分，如行驶而过的船只在画面里留下或斑驳或连贯的痕迹，却在这广阔无垠的画面里显得微不足道。人类的缺席，让观察者的注意力更加集中在画面所呈现的环境本身。然而在最后一幅画面里，并行的人唤起我们对陪伴的渴求，也暗示了世界与我们同在。

Man is present here too, represented now and then as ships passing in the night, insignificant on the vast horizon as we scuttle about, changing things. It is the absence of man that allows our thoughts to focus fully on what is right there behind us. Only on the final frame is there a change, a recognition and celebration of our need for one another, even if only to allow us to appreciate the world in company.

狐狸国际艺术是中国唯一一家把海外艺术教育与产品设计开发结合为一体的创作工作室。旗下设有：Fox International Art College(狐狸国际艺术教育学院）、狐狸产品开发基地、狐狸设计师经纪公司、Fox Gallery(狐狸展览馆)、Fox Material Shop(狐狸综合材料商店）和Fox Library(狐狸图书馆)等多个部门。核心团队由英国伦敦中央圣马丁艺术与设计学院、美国帕森斯设计学院、英国皇家艺术学院等海归设计师、艺术家以及海内外的专家教授在2010年于伦敦和北京共同创立。

Fox International Art is the only creative studio in China that integrates overseas art education with product design and development. And it has Fox International Art College, Fox Product Development Base, Fox Designer Brokerage Company, Fox Gallery, Fox Material Shop, Fox Library and other departments. The core team was jointly founded in London and Beijing in 2010 by returning designers, artists and experts from home and abroad, including the Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design in London, the United States Parsons School of Design and the Royal College of Art in the United Kingdom.

Designers and trainees in all departments of Fox, both in terms of background and professional ability, are the best in the industry. And all of them have worked with various well-known first-line brands and famous museums such as the British Museum, V&A Museum, German National Gemstone Museum, Guicci, Cartier, Alexander McQueen, Swarovski, Gareth Pugh, John Galliano, Dior, Alexander Wang, Giles Deacon, Eason Chan and Shawn Yue.
