During his first ‎visit to Kunming, Ambassador Branstad visited the Kunming Museum and met with veterans and members of the Flying Tigers Research Association to learn more about this important example of U.S.-China partnership. He also met with local government leaders to discuss ways we can cooperate on economic development and regional security. During his speech at Yunnan University, the Ambassador said: "Our two countries should use our shared experience during last century's most challenging years to remind us of what we can achieve when we work together."
