为纪念父亲节，北京美国中心将在学习资源中心放映电影“当幸福来敲门”。电影改编自美国美国加德纳理财公司CEO克里斯·加德纳的真实故事，讲述了一位濒临破产、老婆离家的落魄业务员，如何刻苦耐劳的善尽单亲责任，奋发向上成为股市交易员，最后成为知名的金融投资家的励志故事。威尔·史密斯演出克里斯·加德纳，而他现实生活中的儿子贾登·史密斯则饰演克里斯的儿子克里斯多佛。威尔·史密斯获得2007年奥斯卡金像奖最佳男主角的提名。

这部电影为英文配有英文字幕。

In honor of Father’s Day, the Beijing American Centerproudly presents a screening of the film “The Pursuit of Happyness.” This filmis a 2006 American biographical drama film based on entrepreneur ChrisGardner's nearly one-year struggle being homeless. Directed by GabrieleMuccino, the film features Will Smith as Gardner, a homeless salesman. Smith'sson Jaden Smith co-stars, making his film debut as Gardner's son, ChristopherJr.  Will Smith was nominated for an AcademyAward and a Golden Globe for Best Actor.

The film will be in English with English subtitles.
