What is the “culture of innovation” in America? If you areinterested in the field of technology, you will not want to miss our December13 event. This presentation will explore the religious and philosophicalfoundations that have contributed to America’s position as a global leader intechnology and innovation. It will also introduce contemporary debatessurrounding future technological and societal challenges and how U.S. actorsare fostering open and free debate surrounding these issues. Bring your friendsand family with you to join us on Thursday, December 13 at 7PM in Lincoln Hall.

“青年英语俱乐部”是美国驻广州总领事馆新成立的系列活动，旨在通过各种社交活动提升青年人实际运用英语的能力。
12月14日的活动是“青年英语俱乐部”的第二场活动。这是一场英语互动交流活动，我们将教你如何撰写一份原汁原味的求职简历。颠覆传统的面试环节，我们教你通过电梯游说(elevatorpitch)的形式，用最短的时间、最精简的语言，向应聘单位推销自己、呈现你的想法。活动内容：

• 电梯游说
• 模拟面试你将会在轻松的环境中，高参与度的互动活动中，了解西方求职文化、锻炼应聘技巧。无论你是高中生、大学生，还是初涉职场人士，请带上你的小伙伴一起来认识新朋友吧。
The event will be an interactive event for the attendees to practiceinterviewing each other and practice introducing themselves professionally andsocially. This event kicks off the Youth English Club.
