Saving Lives: HIV/AIDS Awareness and Prevention
Thursday, December 20, 7:00PM
Venue: Lincoln Hall
How much do you know about the HIV virus and AIDS? Did you know that more than one million Americans are living with HIV and one out of seven do not know about it? Around the world, 36.9 million people are currently living with HIV/AIDS. The good news is there is progress toward controlling the epidemic, and many of these efforts are happening with American leadership and support. World AIDS Day was held on December 1, giving us all a chance to honor those who have lost their lives to AIDS, reaffirm our commitment to helping those who are living with or at risk of HIV/AIDS, and celebrate those who support them.
You are invited to learn about America’s National HIV/AIDS Strategy and the work of AIDS Care China to provide care and support to people living with or vulnerable to HIV/AIDS. You are most welcome to join us on Thursday, December 20 at 7PM in Lincoln Hall. Interested in more details about HIV/AIDS? Find the basics here(https://www.hiv.gov/hiv-basics). We hope to see you soon!
您对HIV(人类免疫缺陷病毒)和艾滋病了解多少?
