尊敬的家长及监护人，
Just before the holiday season I just want to remind you of a few very important items.
圣诞假期来临之前，在此提醒您一些非常重要的事情。
1. CISH has regular classes Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. On Friday we are closed so there is no school on Friday.
CISH从周一到周四都正常上课。周五学校停课。
2. Wednesday and Thursday the orchestra is not holding classes. Therefore, we will have a holiday movie for those students staying behind.
由于周三及周四，乐团不上课，因而我们会给这些留下来的学生放圣诞节电影。
• If you want your child to go home with you instead of taking bus on Wednesday please let the homeroom teacher know.
如果周三，您想接孩子回家而不是像往常一样做校车的话，请事先告知班主任老师。
• If your child normally stays on Wednesday for Orchestra but because there is no Orchestra after 2:30 on Wednesday and you want your child to go to the movie at 2: 30 on Wednesday please let the homeroom teacher know.
由于周三两点半后，之前的乐团课程取消了，所以如果您想让孩子在学校观看圣诞电影，请事先告知班主任老师。
• If your child normally stays on Wednesday for Orchestra but because there is no Orchestra after 2:30 on Wednesday and you want your child to go home on the 2: 30 bus on Wednesday please let the homeroom teacher know.
由于周三两点半后的乐团取消了，所以如果您想让孩子乘坐2:30的校车回家，请事先告知班主任老师。
• If your child normally stays on Thursday for Orchestra but because there is no Orchestra on Thursday and you want your child to stay and go to our holiday movie please let the homeroom teacher know.
由于周四的乐团训练取消了，所以如果您想让孩子在学校观看圣诞电影，请事先告知班主任老师。
Time has gone by very quickly and December is here with all the excitement of the month. CISH life is very busy. Ms. Preeper just finished our school play “Alice and Wonderland”, Mr. Cochrane, Mr. White and Ms. Coutts had our basketball teams on the road. Our Basketball teams under the direction of Mr. Cochrane will head to a tournament organized by ACAMIS. This is our first group of students to play in ACAMIS and this is after exams in January.
时光荏苒，白驹过隙，十二月份已经来临。CISH的生活十分繁忙。Preeper老师不久前才结束我们学校的戏剧表演“爱丽丝梦游仙境”，Cochrane老师, White老师以及Jo Coutts老师带领的校篮球队也有不错的表现。我们的篮球队在Cochrane老师的指导下，将会参加中蒙国际学校协会组织的篮球联赛。 这是我校第一组参加中蒙国际学校协会篮球联赛的学生，该联赛会在一月考试后举行。
For many of us we will be going back to our homes in Canada, United States, South Africa, Ireland and many more places in the next two weeks. And for some Santa Claus may be visiting, families may be singing carols or decorating their homes in the spirit of the season.
接下来的两周圣诞假期，学校许多教职员工会回加拿大，美国，南非，爱尔兰，以及其他地方。在有些圣诞节国家，各个家庭可能会在圣诞之际唱圣诞颂歌或者装点房屋。
This week we are very much looking forward to our Christmas concerts. PYP and MYP concerts are on Wednesday morning at 10 AM and 12:30 PM in the bigger auditorium. We will have an opportunity to hear the entire Maple Dragon School Orchestra at 12:30 PM on Wednesday.
本周将会上演万众期待的圣诞音乐会。周三上午10点以及12点30分别会在大报告厅举办PYP和MYP的音乐会。我们能在周三下午12点30的音乐会上，看到枫叶龙乐队成员的集体演出。
On behalf of the administration, I would like to thank the staff, parents and students for their continued support. Our school community is truly becoming a family. The new year will bring exams for students in Grades 9 to 12, new learning experiences for all, new challenges and more exciting opportunities. I look forward for what lies ahead in our school community for 2019.
在此，谨代表校领导，感谢所有员工、家长们以及学生们一直以来的支持。我们学校已经成为了一个大家庭。新的一年，9年级到12年级的学生会迎来考试，也会给学生带来新的学习体验，新的挑战，以及更多振奋人心的机遇。我非常期待看到2019年学校的新发展。
