Chihuly, famous for his glass blown art, established the glass program at the prestigious Rhode Island School of Design.  He is a 1968 alumnus of the State Department’s Fulbright Fellowship.

Chihuly’s piece, Gold Fiddleheads, is prominently placed in the Ambassador’s living room.
