纽约公共图书馆(New York Public Library)建于1895年,至今已经有超过100年的历史,是美国最大的市立公共图书馆。

纽约公共图书馆的这份书单,还特别注意让孩子们了解自己的城市,因此从新生儿的绘本就开始有讲述纽约的内容。这让人深深感到,“本地城市主题的优秀儿童绘本”,在中文童书领域,相对还是少一些的。
