MA English-Chinese Interpreting withTranslation

英汉口译及笔译硕士

This programme is taught in ourstate-of-the-art, purpose-built international-standard interpreting suite with8 booths and 18 delegates’ seats to give you extensive practice in a typical interpretingsetting. You will be able to develop skills in both consecutive andsimultaneous interpreting, practiced in a range of scenarios includingbusiness, legal and medical settings.

You will work closely with otherstudents, allowing you to share contacts and experiences and develop yourfuture networks.

本专业是在国际一流的同声传译会议室内进行授课，室内配有八个同声传译译员间、十八个代表席；通过对商业、法律和医疗等系列场景的模拟教学，提升改进交替及同声传译的技能技巧；通过学生之间的密切协作、共享丰富资源、强化人际关系，为您的未来职业发展奠定基础。

Entry requirements:

n Native speaker proficiency in Mandarin Chinese

普通话为/达到母语水平

n A good languages or humanities degree

英语专业或人文学科优秀毕业生

n English language – IELTS 7.0, with 6.5 in speaking and writing and 6.0in listening and reading
