American officials showed the world stark evidence of the escalating threat from Iran’s ballistic missiles.

Standing in front of an Iranian Sayyad 2C surface-to-air missile and fragments of a Qiam ballistic missile that Houthi rebels in Yemen fired at Saudi Arabia, Brian Hook, the U.S. special representative for Iran, called them evidence of “state-sponsored, revolutionary terrorism.”

“Iran must stop testing and proliferating missiles, stop launching and developing nuclear-capable missiles,” said Hook, who displayed the weapons at a Washington air base on November 29. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo urged the United Nations Security Councilon December 12 to act to end the Iranian regime’s reckless missile activities.
